Kids will receive cool bookmarks, clown noses, puzzles and coloring sheets, too!

Description: Sit inside a real fire engine. Attend a short safety presentation at 6:00 or 7:00 pm. See our safety house and mini-townscape.  Jeep and bike rides (alternating every half hour).  Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.  Come on out and see us at Frisco Fire Safety Town!

Date & Time: Each one-hour program will be offered four times daily @ 9:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Location: Frisco Fire Safety Town
Address: Located adjacent to the new Central Fire Station, Main Street, Frisco
Description: Programs include a safety presentation, hands-on interaction with students and a tour of the outdoor town, weather permitting. All programs focus on four core safety points:  prevention, preparation, recognition  and response to each safety topic.
Programs:  MON - Babysitter Safety or Severe Weather Safety; TUES - Outdoor Safety;  WED - Home & Life Safety; THURS -  Fire Safety; FRI -   Bicycle & Wheel Safety.
Ages: Kindergarten, first and second grade. Third, fourth and fifth grade students are given instruction on the same topics in a separate classroom and at a more advanced level.

The 2009 Parks Concerts Series

  • Wednesday, June 10. Exall Park Rain site: Latino Cultural Center 8 – 9 p. m.
  • Description: This is a series of free outdoor performances by the Symphony in Dallas-area parks throughout the spring. Produced in conjunction with the city of Dallas' Office of Cultural Affairs and Parks and Recreation, these concerts attract more than 35,000 music enthusiasts.

    Cost: Parks Concerts are free and open to the public.
