The Holiday lights and music will run daily 6-10 PM. This show is free to the public. Visitors may tune in to 107.3 FM on the radio in their vehicles, or listen to the music piped through speakers as they take a walk through the Square. The light and music extravaganza is choreographed by Frisco’s own Jeff Trykoski (Illumimax, LLC). Celebrating it’s 15th year, the light show for Christmas in the Square features over 180,000 lights, 200 dancing snowflakes, 10 miles of wiring, and 8 miles of extension cords. Although this holiday looks different than most, Mockingbird Stations festive window displays provide a fun escape to canceled holiday traditions. In addition to holiday window displays, the shopping center is celebrating “the most wonderful time of the year by making spirits bright” with their Winter Wonderland display featuring a large six-foot-tall light up snowflake and The Station’s signature Big Red Chair located under the canopies across from West Elm. Another way The Station is also providing holiday cheer this season is by supporting the Holiday of Hope Toy Drive benefitting Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center. This year, giving back is more important than ever, especially for children living in the aftermath of criminal child abuse. Each year, DCAC brings a smile to thousands of clients’ faces when providing them with gifts and toys through their annual Holiday of Hope campaign which hopes to provide toys to more than 2,000 families this holiday season amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Mockingbird Station invites you to help spread holiday cheer and give back by dropping off toy donations for the Holiday of Hope campaign before December 17th. Description: The AAM, Dallas has one of the largest collections of African American folk art in the country. The Billy R. Allen Folk Art Collection, named for a founding board member, has grown to include more than 500 objects.
