Special Needs Camps for kids in Frisco for Summer 2017 such as Camp Summit and Arc of Dallas include camps for kids with developmental disabilities, chronic illnesses, physical disabilities, & other needs.
Have some free time when the kids aren't in camp? Explore Dallas Fort Worth with Kidding Around Town, our unique family "edu-tainment" guide. This "must" in every parent's tool kit lists 100s of places to go in DFW with age-appropriate activities to build their brains.
Research has proven the more you take your kids to museums, zoos and other places and engage their brains, they will grow up to be smarter! Our book shows you how.
Camp Summit is a "sleep away" camp for children and adults with
disabilities. We offer weeklong camp sessions during spring break,
summer and fall months as well as weekend sessions and respite days.
Campers are offered a wide variety of traditional camp activities in our
barrier-free environment all of which are adapted for our campers'
abilities and not limited to their disabilities.

At MDA camp, kids with neuromuscular disease discover a world created specifically for them, and meet many other kids sharing the same needs and experiences. MDA campers dream about summer camp all year and often say it’s better than Christmas; some even say it’s changed their lives. Almost all campers agree that it’s "the best week of the year."
