Many people go all out when decorating for the Christmas holiday season and often for Halloween. But what if you want to feel festive at other times of the year? This article discusses five ways to decorate your home for St. Patrick's Day.

#1 - Home made and crafts decorations

If you enjoy the do-it-yourself way of doing things or you just prefer to have unique and personalized decorations, then making them yourself is the way to go. You can create your own banners, wall hangings and more with some simple guidelines you can find online.

#2 - Pre-Made and Holiday Specific

Another easy route to go is to buy decorations that are made especially for St. Patrick's Day. There is an enormous supply of items that you can find for giving your home (or party) that Irish spirit. You can buy pre-made St. Paddy's day banners, wall hangings, centerpieces, posters, crepe paper, balloons and much more. And if you're throwing an Irish themed party you can get all the St. Patrick's day party supplies you need including paper plates, napkins, cups and table cloths pre-printed and ready to go.

#3 - Go Green!

No, this isn't a call to be more ecologically friendly. If you want to buy pre-made items but do not want to have everything printed with leprechauns, shamrocks or stating "Happy St. Patrick's Day" you can buy items in various shades of green to accomplish the same feel.
